A Victorian is Restored After Being Neglected for Decades

428 Woodward Ave

The once boarded up and neglected Victorian at the corner of Woodward and Cherokee Avenues was the hot place to be the last week in November!

Red Robin Group reported a full house of neighbors at the 428 Woodward Avenue Neighborhood Preview Event on Thursday, November 29th. Visitors enjoyed food and drinks while meandering through the house, catching up with neighbors, and meeting the builders, Maura and Kendall of Green Stone Design, Inc. Many neighbors noticed their attention to detail and commented on the thoughtful restoration of the original staircase, pocket doors, and fireplaces. A favorite room was the chef’s kitchen complete with a marble backsplash, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It was a hugely successful event and Red Robin Group and Green Stone Design appreciated the warm reception from the neighborhood.
