In March the monthly meeting is at Zoo Atlanta. GPNA's monthly meeting occurs every third Tuesday of the month and begins promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Are you interested in joining the Grant Park Security Patrol? Since its inception in June of 1990, home burglaries in the Grant Park neighborhood have dropped 70%. Access-protected updates regarding crime in the neighborhood are frequently posted for Security Patrol members at gpna.org. FitWit is redefining fitness for people of all levels. Our six week fitness camps offer a new challenge everyday as campers push, pull, lunge, crawl, jump, run, sweat and laugh themselves into the best shape of their lives, and in the process, they meet their new best friends.
Registration is now being accepted for the Grant Park Recreation After School Program.

Join us for the Grant Park Home & Garden Tour in September. Spend the weekend touring the neighborhood- Saturday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm or Sunday 12:00 - 6:00 pm.
GPNA is once again selling Sunbursts. This unofficial symbol of the neighborhood has been quite popular through the years as evidenced by the number of them that you see hanging from Grant Park homes. Sunbursts are pre-painted in yellow and blue and homeowners are encouraged to add their street addresses.

Business was moving along as usual at the September meeting of the Grant Park Neighborhood Association (GPNA) when a voice from the back of the room called on the neighborhood to get involved in restoring the Erskine Fountain (Cherokee Av. at Ormond St.). A gentleman stood to talk about the horrible condition of this little fountain. "It is shameful to allow the fountain to deteriorate. It needs to be repaired. Can't someone do something?" he said.

The developers of the Zoo Property on Cherokee Avenue are hosting a meeting on October 28th to present their ideas for the development of the property across from the Zoo parking lot. The meeting will be in room 209 of the Georgia Hill facility at 7:00 PM. If you have any questions you can e-mail Troy Haworth, Land Use and Zoning Committee Chair.
