Tucked inside our historical Grant Park is this wonderful Bed and Breakfast called the Social Goat. Sitting on almost an acre of land and named after their resident miniature goats, this sweet B&B comes with its own little farm and barnyard in the heart of Atlanta. Be sure to stop by and say hello to the animals that call the Social Goat “home”, which include the ducks, wild turkeys, chickens, goats, goldfish and koi in the courtyard fountain and of course the cats that lazily perch throughout this lovely home.

Kristy and Paul took on this 1900 Victorian in 2004 and after 4 years of deconstruction and renovating they finally moved in 2008. They worked hard to carefully keep what they could of the original woodwork and interior of this old home, then added the four covered porches and the beautiful Brazilian cherry floors throughout. Original trim remains, which the Kristy and Paul were sure to keep during the renovation. A few places in the home required new trim and they hired a master craftsman to created new header boards, fluted door trim and more. There are many beautiful and personal touches by Kristy and Paul throughout the home.

They offer a homemade breakfast every morning with Kristy whipping up her unique recipes using the farm fresh eggs from the chickens and adding her special touch to make a talked about complete breakfast for the guests.

Guests rave about their experiences at The Social Goat. With a 5 star rating everywhere you look, this Bed & Breakfast is a very special place to stay. The interior is warm and relaxing with the beautiful choices in furniture and décor. Each room, most with its’ own outdoor space, has its own unique charm and character. So the next time you have guests in town send them to stay at The Social Goat where unique meets historical with a cozy flair!
