Eventide is an old English term meaning “evening” or “twilight”. For the owners, it represents the time of day that anything is possible and everything is exactly as you want it to be.

Eventide Brewing is a locally owned business on the south side of Grant Park, well known for their variety of craft beers. Nathan Cowan, Haley Cowan, and Geoffrey Williams all met at Georgia Southern, and later on began to experiment with homemade pickles, mustard, cheese, and beer. Nathan and Geoffrey’s first batch of beer was brewed on a “Mr. Beer” kit. Shortly after realizing they needed to upgrade, Nathan fabricated a three kettle brew system, which is still used to create their test brews today. Mathew Sweezy joined the team a few years later after being introduced to the group through one of Haley’s friends. Eventide Brewing was formed out of friendship and a love of good beer.

The combination of everyone’s background and talents has allowed the group to build this company from the ground up, become even closer friends, and craft award-winning beer. Eventide is proud to call Atlanta and Grant Park home; to provide this city and neighborhood with brewed offerings that really show what “craft” can be. To Eventide, great doesn’t have to be complicated.

Eventide has a diverse set of offerings, including the Curiosity Club in partnership with The Homestead Atlanta, Trivia, Monthly Rides lead by Sorella Cyclists, and monthly art shows hosted by Familyhood. Schedule your next event here and support a local business.

Eventide will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 for tours & tastings.
