This unofficial symbol of the neighborhood has been quite popular through the years as evidenced by the number of them that you see hanging from Grant Park homes. Sunbursts are pre-painted in yellow and blue and homeowners are encouraged to add their street addresses.

The Sunburst is a symbol of the restoration and cohesion of the neighborhood and takes its design from similar exterior architectural decorative patterns found on many of the homes in Grant Park.

The Sunbursts are sold through the Parks and Rec Committee of GPNA. Proceeds from sales help GPNA continue its efforts to improve the neighborhood through special projects and donations to area non-profits. Sunbursts are $50.00 and include the hardware for hanging.
