The Children’s Garden Preschool is committed to nourishing and strengthening the innate creative genius in all children in a positive, family-oriented educational setting.
Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to explore their intellectual, emotional and creative capacities, through play, communication and physical activity.

The Highlander School is a new, nature centered learning community that fosters collaboration and a celebration of childhood! We are located in the East Atlanta Village behind the library. Our registration application is available online at TheHighlanderSchool.com.
Lots to do as the school year begins. Attendance Zones have been redrawn, many students will be transitioning to new schools in our cluster. VOLUNTEERS will be needed in the next few weeks as school registration, orientation and students return. If you are available to help please email Don Grant from the SEACS website.
Your Child & Mine home childcare. We are located In East Atlanta in the Ormewood Park community. I prepare 2 hot, nutritious, meals and 2 snacks daily (fruits and vegetables). I recognize that to the children I nurture, I am a home away from home for them.
Montessori In Town is now enrolling for primary and elementary programs. Open houses will be held Feb 17 at 6:30 at the Glen Castle campus, one block west of Glenwood Park.

Our goal at the Ormewood School is to nurture children in a safe and supportive environment as they attend to the important work of playing, socializing, making music, art and friends, while at the same time learning essential skills that are developmentally appropriate to their age and ability.
The Atlanta Charter Middle School (ACMS) is a free public school of choice, open by lottery admissions to all students zoned for an Atlanta Public School in grades six through eight. Opened in the fall of 2005 by a group of area parents and educators, ACMS is committed to student-centered and project-based learning. ACMS is a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools and follows the organization's principles of helping students to use their minds well, personalized instruction, and a democratic community. ACMS has recently purchased its building, establishing itself as a long-term resident of the Ormewood Park neighborhood in southeast Atlanta.

St. Nicholas Orthodox Academy is eighth thru twelfth grade school in 2008-2009, accredited by GAC, a ministry of St. John Wonderworker Church located in Grant Park. Small classes, excellent education, inexpensive; ten spots available next year for full enrollment.

Inman Park Cooperative Preschool (IPCP) is a parent-run, intown preschool with morning classes for children aged one to five years. IPCP also offers after-school playtime and enrichment classes and a summer camp.
SoulShine has been serving Kirkwood and the surrounding communities since 2007. Our full day preschool classes start at ages 6 weeks. Our After School program serves children up to age 12. We've recently added full day preschool classes and look forward to giving tours to interested families.

Center also offers after school soccer training and education, camps, clinics to teams and dedicated coaches, and also assists players with their competitive goals such as select team and high school try outs, ODP trials, college recruitment in line with the most important components of futbol training guidelines (technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects).
